Riding School

Sylvia VanGuilder

The Riding School is headed by Sylvia VanGuilder. A 20 year resident of Crescent Stables, Sylvia has taught 100s of children to ride. Sylvia oversees the care of the school horses, and starts children on the right track to riding and the love of the horse. Joining Sylvia are Pamela McMartin, Katy Taylor, Julia Clarke and Anne Lyon, all EC certified Instructors. These coaches have come up through our own program, and all ride and compete as well. The coaches are assisted by senior riders Chelsea Johnston, Anna Baker and Renee Mulder. All the school horses are "test driven" by the coaches to ensure they are safe for the younger riders.
